Recently, the Ministry of Transport issued the "Standards for the Application of Highway Engineering Construction Information Models" (JTG/T 2422-2021, referred to as "Standards") as a recommended standard for the highway engineering industry and will come into force on June 1, 2021. For convenience To understand the background, positioning and main content of the "Standards", and to do a good job in implementing them, the "Standards" are now interpreted as follows:
One, background
The digitization of highway infrastructure is the main content and basic work for accelerating the construction of a strong transportation country and promoting the development of smart highways. The extensive application of BIM technology in my country's highway engineering has accelerated the digital development of the highway industry and promoted the coordinated development of highway design, construction, and operation and maintenance technologies. In order to meet the needs of the application of BIM technology in my country's highway industry, promote the sound development and life-cycle application of highway engineering BIM technology, and further improve the application level and digitization level of highway engineering life-cycle BIM technology, our ministry has formulated the highway engineering BIM technology foundation Standards, determine the highway facility model architecture, model coding, data format and other issues, and standardize the technical requirements for the application of information models in the entire life cycle of highway projects, and lay the foundation for the next step of highway digitization.
2. "Standard" positioning
The "Standard" aims to standardize the basic requirements for the application of BIM technology in the construction phase of highway engineering, clarify the technical content of model requirements, application, and delivery, and realize the effective sharing, inheritance and transmission of models and information. The "Standard" applies to the construction phase of highway engineering, covering subgrades and pavements, bridges and culverts, tunnels, traffic engineering and auxiliary facilities and other majors.
3. Main content
On the basis of fully summarizing relevant BIM technical standards and research results at home and abroad, the "Standard" has formulated regulations and requirements that are suitable for the characteristics of my country's highway engineering industry and are conducive to the application of BIM technology during the construction phase based on the actual needs of highway engineering. The "Standard" includes 6 chapters and 3 appendices, which are: 1 General; 2 Terminology; 3 Basic Regulations; 4 Model Requirements; 5 Model Application; 6 Delivery; Appendix A Highway Engineering Information Model Fineness; Appendix B General Construction Information Attributes Group; Appendix C Temporary Engineering Model Fineness. The main contents include:
(1) Model requirements: The application of the "Standard" to the highway engineering information model in the construction phase, according to the actual road engineering construction, divided into three sub-phases: construction preparation, construction process and handover acceptance, corresponding to the model fineness level L3.5 and L4 respectively .0 and L5.0 are intended to clearly stipulate the information exchange requirements before, during and after construction. The model fineness level specified in the "Standard" belongs to and supports the model fineness level framework system stipulated in the Unified Standard for the Application of Highway Engineering Information Models (JTG/T 2420-2021), which facilitates the implementation of information exchange throughout the life cycle.
(2) Model application: The model application scenarios involved in the "Standard" include construction preparation, construction organization management, construction schedule management, construction quality management, construction safety management, construction cost management, and measurement payment management. Technical regulations and management requirements have been established.
(3) Model delivery: The model information delivery requirements are increased along the level of model fineness, trying to meet the needs of the project's basic data during the construction phase, while taking into account that the project's basic data is easy to collect, integrate, and manage through structuring, so as to meet the needs of model applications. Under the premise of demand, avoid information redundancy and ensure the use efficiency of information delivery.
IV. Implementation precautions
As this "standard" is a newly compiled standard, it runs through the construction phase of highway engineering, the following matters should be paid attention to during the implementation process:
(1) Used in conjunction with relevant specifications. The "Standard" should be used in accordance with the "Unified Standards for the Application of Highway Engineering Information Models" (JTG/T 2420-2021), "The Standards for the Application of Highway Engineering Design Information Models" (JTG/T 2421-2021) and related standards and specifications for highway engineering construction And other supporting use.
(2) Continue to track the effect of the implementation of the "Standard". In the application of the "standard", we should continue to track the implementation effect, pay attention to the adaptability and coordination with the actual road engineering construction management, pay attention to the applicability of the existing BIM software tools, strengthen the feedback and analysis of the application of BIM technology, and summarize the project in time Application experience will further improve the application level and effect of BIM technology, and lay a more solid foundation for the development of BIM technology in highway engineering.
(3) Carefully organize publicity and implementation training. The "Standard" is widely used in highway construction, serving the departments of transportation, construction and management in various provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government). It is necessary to effectively organize publicity and implementation training in accordance with the actual work, so that technical personnel can accurately understand the "standard" and use the "standard" correctly.
